It Was Never a Lack of Effort.

Neurodivergent minds do not need to try harder. They need systems built around how they are wired. Counseling and coaching for neurodivergent individuals and the families who love them.

Sound Familiar?

You Have Tried the Charts, the Consequences, and the Pep Talks.

  • Mornings fall apart before anyone is out the door.
  • A child who holds it together all day, then collapses at home.
  • Homework that takes three hours and ends in tears.
  • A new planner or system every September, gone by October.
  • Being told it is about effort, discipline, or attitude.
  • Lying awake wondering whether you are handling this wrong.

None of this means you are failing. It means the system was not built for your brain. The overwhelm is real, it has a root cause, and it can be solved.

The overwhelm stops running the day, and the people in your home feel understood.

  • Mornings run on a system that fits, not on willpower and nagging.
  • Your child, or you, can name what is happening before it becomes a meltdown.
  • Everyone at home shares a language for how each brain works.
  • School meetings are ones where you know exactly what to ask for.

What Clients Say

It’s My Privilege to Work With Incredible Humans.

We came to Justin as a family when our child was in emotional distress. We had insurance and resources, however the wait times and logistical mess made my 9 year old feel unsafe, which is more dysregulating for him and the family.

Justin was able to provide a safe space for my son, me and my partner. He was able to safely allow my son to explore his emotions without judgement or shame, give him forward steps in an appropriate way, and ultimately safely support my partner and I regulating his nervous system.

Patty

Justin is a therapist who does things differently. He is highly considerate and non-judgemental. His experience and knowledge of autism is extraordinary. Justin can go beyond what a normal therapist can do. He has helped me work through things I consider spiritual and deeply meaningful.

Jesse

The Overwhelm Does Not Resolve on Its Own.

It carries into school, work, and the relationships that matter most. A free 30 minute conversation is the first step toward changing that.

Frequently Asked Questions

Before You Reach Out

What Is Executive Functioning?

Every person on the planet uses executive functioning constantly throughout their day, whether they’re aware of it or not. From the routine of getting out the door, to what happens as you manage daily tasks or try to get from Point A to Point B, or even what you’re going to make for dinner, we all need help sometimes managing these daily tasks. For those with neurodifferences, these tasks can sometimes feel overwhelming to the point of collapse. Finding the root causes of our personal overwhelm helps not only identify triggers, but how to overcome them and create successful systems for managing our days and our life.

Why Should I Engage Your Services?

As someone who also faced the overwhelm of growing up with neurodifferences, I am intimately familiar with the need to find real solutions to these challenges. My years of experience as a high level athlete and coach, as well as my licensed therapeutic training, kept bringing me into constant contact with neurodiverse individuals and I found I had a unique perspective that allowed me to specialize in helping each person find success that seemed previously out of reach.

How Do I Enroll?

My process begins when you click on any of the “Start Here” buttons on this page and book your free 30 minute consultation. This first conversation will help us both discover whether or not I’ll be a good fit. At the end, we’ll set dates for follow-up sessions and I’ll help you map and take steps toward positive, lasting change.

How Much Do Individual or Family Sessions Cost?

My rates vary slightly depending on need, frequency, and services rendered. We will discuss fees during your free 30 minute consultation.

What If I Need to Cancel or Reschedule?

I require 24 hours advance notice for any cancellation, and at least 4 hours advance notice of scheduling conflicts. If advance notice of cancellation or rescheduling is not given, our full session fee will be charged. If after our first consultation or series of meetings you discover you no longer need my services, great! We can discuss how to move forward or part ways, no obligation.
